TomaMoto Raves! "A stunning tour de force!"

With a background in always-agreeable good old-fashioned humor, bbqbeefburger man takes the next step to stardom in his latest NG debut, BBQ-Town 2500.

The new color elements were surprising and welcome. The plot was classic.

And the new song... I'd like to say I've been singing it all day, but I got it early, so it turns out I've been singing it all week! Awesome job, Darkside555 and Bad Man Inc! Maybe some time we can get together and do a director's cut with with the authentic bbq voice. It won't be as good as the original, for sure, but it might prove amusing.

You certainly don't dissapoint, bbqbeefburgerman. Keep it up!

Bbqbeefburgerman responds:

Then again without your amazing voice acting talent my movies wouldnt be quite as sexy. :o

Awesome full-length splendor!

Children of the 80s rejoice! This is your one-stop reference drop! Seriously, tons of twist and turns and laughs along the way for 80s kids and Harry Potter readers alike. Do be sure to watch the whole thing, now! Clearly a LOT of effort went into making this.

Good material!

At first I thought... why no backgrounds? Why is it all white... Then it occured to me that in the more recent Apple commercials, there really only is a white backdrop, so that seems fair enough. Anyway yeah, Apple does prey on the whole, "look how hip all of our expensive crap is" angle. Good job. Funny flash. Nice choice of music.

It was a pleasure voicing it and a unique experience actually having to do a rap...

SirSloth responds:

I will force more raps on you Josh, Don't worry.
Full scale raps :3.

You guys are harsh...

I dunno why I'm seeing so many nasty reviews for this. I thought it was pretty funny. Do you guys not like the jpeg-esque animation style or something? I'd rather watch Ackbar than 75% of the shows currently airing on Adult Swim. That seems like a fair comparison since it airs the majority of animation intended for the same demographic as this flash. The voice acting was overall way better than 95% flashes I've seen on NG and the fact that I'm in the cast has nothing to do with my opinion on that matter. I think the animation style only adds to the zany sense of humor which I have come to adore.

Great animation, lead voice is lacking...

May I first say, as a voice actor, that the main female in this piece did wonderfully and that I loved the quality and style of the animation. The voice of Throwback, however, leaves very much to be desired. Issues with recording (like the voice suddenly getting unintelligible as if the actor was leaning in and out from the microphone) and acting (because I just couldn' feel much personality to be honest) really hurt the show. I hope to see more of this but only if the lead voice actor will work on his recording consistency and acting (or be recast). Sorry to harp on the negative points as I really found this flash to be otherwise quite admirable. It's just that voice acting is very important to me personally and I want to let you know that it was a very obvious flaw in what would have otherwise been an airtight flash.

Splendid

I just wanted to say that I could really relate to this whole piece, despite the overexaggeration of realism, which worked beatifully by the way. The level of personality that these characters posess is one of those things that really helps it stand out. This really livened up my night. Thank you very much for that.

That was great.

This is like what twelve ounce mouse wishes it was... and will never be. Sorry that this is a crappy review. I really don't want to criticize this, since it's made my day.

Fairly weak

Adjust the sound levels with music, please. The casting was weak and I thought that only Windu was well acted and casted. All the other actors sounded awekward because of poor acting. Some voices simply sounded way too young. The animation style was entertaining. The writing was oh so weak. The jokes were so lame that I could die and the poor acting only made this worse. Nice try. I'm sure this took a while to make, but I thought itwas lack luster

Xennethy responds:

Haha, i think i should deserve more than a 5 from u...
I am very pleased with the VAs and i think they sounded like what i want.
As for the story and plots, i was targeting Star Wars fans, so i guess some of u may not really know whats going on.

ANyway, im very glad that i can pull off something so big cuz im still an amateur animator. I welcome any reviews and feedbacks, so maybe i can come back with something better in da future. Thanks for watching!!!!!

Good stuff, but mixed quality in voice acting

I overall liked this. Everything about it gave it strength except for some voice acting that brought it down. Mega Man sounded excellent, and Bass was fine. Scott and Taylor had terrible sound quality and sounded annoying. Now I know what you're thinking... they're supposed to be annoying. But that's not what I mean. They are actually irritating to the point that I want to stop the flash. Whoever played Link, I'm afraid to say, really needs some serious work. Sound quality was poor and the acting, well, it was a an insult to voice actors throughout the world. Other than that, I liked the story and the sprite animation a lot. Good work overall.

Jackovv! Do not touch my borner!
